Miriam started practising yoga in 1998 with Jacques Gheysen and attended his classes for more than 10 years. What started as a weekly practice turned into a life philosophy.

During a 6 month stay in India Miriam got to know the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres and decided to take their Teacher Training Course . She partly took it in Austria , partly in India (200/500 hrs RYT Yoga Alliance, 2008 – 2009). She also took a Kids Teacher Training Course at Kreakatau and Yoga for the Elderly at Yoga Opleidingen Limburg. She further deepened her studies during workshops such as Yoga Nidra and Pawanmuktasanas at Yogabindu, Scaravelli Inspired yoga with Diane Long and with Catherine Annis.

Miriam has been teaching gentle hatha yoga since September 2009. She continues to attend workshops and retreats so that she can better share the wonders of yoga with her students.

Miriam lives yoga on and off the mat. She continuously experiences the benefits of yoga on her physical as well as mental well-being and in all aspects of her life. It is this experience she conveys with enthusiasm to her students during the hatha yoga class.
